Exploring Ohio's Ancient Seas - for Educators 8/5

Come explore the depths of Northwest Ohio’s very own ancient ocean! The Silica Shale Formation is a world famous paleontological unit that produces a unique fossil assemblage of corals, sponges, bryozoans, brachiopods, trilobites, and armored fish. Through the study of paleontology we can bring these ancient Ohioans to life for your students! Join us for a day of activities that you can take back to the classroom, no matter the age group.
