Facilities

Olander Lake observes all Ohio fishing regulations. Ohio requires a fishing license for those 16-65 years of age. There are bait vending machines located outside of the boat shop available during park hours. The Boat Shop is open seasonally, from late April through late September.

Boat rentals are available for those 16 years and older, and riders must be at least 12 years old to boat without an adult guardian.
Paddle boat: Seat up to 3 people
Sylvania School District Residents: $5 per half hour
Non-Resident Rate: $6 per half hour

Rowboats: seat up to 4 people
Sylvania School District Residents: $5 per hour
Non-Resident Rate: $6 per hour

Single & Tandem Kayaks & Stand Up Paddleboards:
Sylvania School District Residents: $10 per hour
Non-Resident Rate: $12 per hour

Monday through Friday, enjoy the “Fisherman’s Special” and rent a rowboat for the day for $10 (major holidays excluded).
